If you accidentally leave this app on, it can use up all of your data and charge you overages very quickly. Most mobile plans have a limited data transfer count. Obviously, downloading torrents takes up a huge amount of bandwidth. The app does not have a built-in WiFi vs 3G/4G control, which is a big detractor. This may be good for non-power users, but the lack of options may throw users under the bus who require more specialized functionality. There's no question that this client is feature-filled and easy to use on desktops, but do these features translate well to mobile devices? It has the basic required functionality, but not much else. Many files are shared via torrent, and until now, Android devices have had no reliable way of seeding and leeching torrents. ΜTorrent Beta is the mobile version of the acclaimed desktop torrent client of the same name.
